I am a qualified supervisor. 

I qualified as a counsellor / psychotherapist in 2006 and have worked for over 18 years as a counsellor, psychotherapist and teacher. I am an Accredited Member of BACP . I can offer Person Centred Therapy, Integrative Therapies, Systemic Therapy (Couple and Family) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). I am an experienced therapist working in private practice at the moment, with a wide range of clients, issues, situations and circumstances. I worked before in schools, drug and alcohol rehab – voluntary placement, occupational health (EAP and assessments) and private practice. I have a special interest on Relationship / Couple Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Loss / Grief Therapy, Anxiety and Depression Therapy. My aim is to be open, fair and to give everyone an equal service, recognizing and valuing different needs and approaches.

I charge £75 an hour for all supervision sessions, whether face to face, via phone or Teams.

In my first session with a supervisee we will discuss about boundaries, contract, experience, ethical framework, qualifications, what is supervision, and what the supervisee needs from our sessions.

My view it is that the sessions are for supervisee to use in the way they ‘wish’ from discussing each client, from looking at ‘hot’ topics, to reflect on their own process and how this is affecting their client, to look at what techniques they used (CBT), to reflect on what skills they need to use with their clients and how to accommodate different clients with different needs. Also, in our sessions we could talk about the supervisee, if something happened to them, we are looking at the ways of how these is affecting their practice.

In our sessions may come the need to talk about to set a private practice and what are the challenges for the supervisee and future clients in these settings.
